Fantasy Fest October 22-31
After a long day soaking up rays and enjoying the pristine beaches, you might be eager to get out to Key West’s historic downtown district. With a whole lineup of different events coming up, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Aside from checking out all the great shops and restaurants located in Mallory Square, you can also enjoy this year’s Fantasy Fest. While the full parade will not be held this year due to the rise in Covid-19 cases, it will still be a lot of fun with many people getting together dressed in outrageous costumes. This event has been held for the last 42 years and is a great experience for any tourist coming to Key West for the first time.
Truman Waterfront Market
Set to open on October 21st, this farmer’s market is a must if you’re interested in shopping for some of the freshest produce that Florida has to offer. With a large variety of vendors and food options, this market is a great way to spend some time while visiting Key West.
Live Music
Throughout October and November, you can expect to see live music acts from a variety of independent artists and musicians. With shows every night, you will be able to enjoy some great tunes with a beautiful ambiance as the sun begins to set in the evening hours. Aside from the various independent acts, Key West is also holding a ZZ top concert on November 6th at Key West Amphitheater.
